Author of philosophical essays aimed at the general public, her writing blends philosophy, sociology, anthropology, and psychoanalysis, as well as pop culture and personal narrative. Her first essay, “The Face of Our Angers” (Flammarion, 2022), seeks to rehabilitate the often-maligned emotion of anger by exploring its functions, meanings, and modes of expression (shortlisted for the Inrockuptibles Essay Prize, the Psychology-FNAC Prize, and winner of the High School Students’ Philosophy Prize in 2023).

She recently published “Making Family. A Philosophy of Relationships” (Allary Editions, 2023), which offers an exploration of family life to understand the origin of its complexities.

A speaker at the “Mardis de la philosophie” (Paris), Solvay Brussels School (Brussels), Philomonaco, and various philosophical associations, Sophie Galabru also engages with businesses.
