Journey of a passionate animation and media woman from Toulouse
Stella Carpenter, originally from Toulouse, is an ambassador for the Pink City who began her radio career at the age of 14, passionate about animation and the media.
She has hosted festivals since the age of 15, then joined the radio school “Sudformadia” in Toulouse at 17.
Graduated at the age of 19, she joined the Fun radio antenna in Paris as an intern, working alongside Karel de la Libre Antenne.
In 2013, Stella hosted the backstages of the NRJ Music Awards and conducted interviews at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. She was contacted by Basket Provence to host matches at the Palais des Sports in Marseille. The same year, she was the speakerine of the “La Marseillaise des Femmes” race and led the inauguration of the NEW STADE VÉLODROME DE MARSEILLE.
Stella later hosted a daily DTT news and media show for two years alongside host Laurent Artufel.
In 2016, she became the first female speakerine in the history of the Tour de France during the 103rd edition, animating the starting villages of the 21 stages and interviewing personalities such as RAYMOND POULIDOR and RICHARD VIRENQUE, as well as the participating cyclists.
Since then, Stella has been a successful host of events, television shows and shows.
She was present at the ceremony of the 8th edition of the VENDÉE GLOBE in Les Sables d’Olonne alongside the skippers and was a columnist on the economic show “Le Grand Débat du Web” on DEMAIN TV in 2017.
Stella was also noticed by TMC, joining the team of the real estate issue “Carrément biens” for 2 seasons, with a chronicle covering all of France.
A versatile facilitator
Over the years, Stella has continued to shine in her field, hosting various sporting events, including the Capitol Place Music Festival in 2019 and the Tokyo Olympics in Paris, where she hosted the LIVE GAMES.
She also showed her talent as an actress by making an appearance in the American series DYNASTIE on Netflix and was host of “THE NIGHT OF KINGS”, a ceremony organized by the magazine VIUZ that rewards the best digital marketing devices.
In 2021, we find Stella in the monthly automobile show “AUTO LÉGEND”, covering automobile events throughout France and broadcast on several DTT channels and abroad.
She also had the honour of hosting the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic Games and the passing of the Paris 2024 flag live from Place du Trocadéro in August 2021.
