She began playing the violin at the age of 3 and quickly joined the Conservatoire National de Région de Marseille. At 16, she moved up and was the first named to enter the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. Marina rapidly honed her skills in Europe and attended numerous masterclasses with great masters.
She now leads an international career, performing as a soloist and in chamber music in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Théâtre des Champs Elysées, and National Concert Hall in Beijing.
In 2020, she was chosen to be part of the Young Leaders program of the French-American Foundation. She subsequently received the prestigious Marshall Memorial Fellowship from the German Marshall Fund and became an ambassador of the French Touch movement. In 2022, she was honored among the 100 Women of Culture and later resided at the Villa Medici in Rome and Villa Albertine in the United States.
Her musical career is dotted with awards, including the first prize at the Menuhin Competition in Gstaad and the Classical Revelation of the ADAMI. She performs as a soloist with many prestigious orchestras worldwide and collaborates with renowned conductors.
An accomplished academician, holding a PhD in arts and having studied with some of Europe’s greatest teachers, Marina is passionate about sharing her love for music with as many people as possible. She participates in international leadership programs, lectures at American universities like Columbia and NYU, and hosts her column on the radio (France Inter). She is also the author of a book, “Musiciennes de légende,” (First Editions, Radio France) highlighting significant female artists from the 19th and 20th centuries. Her work is recognized by the 2022 Musicians’ Literary Prize.
