At a very young age, Charlène Descollonges realized that her whole life revolves around this vital element for humanity, water.
She therefore directed her training to have a solid scientific background (with a Master in Hydrology) and skills in project engineering (with a diploma in general engineering).
Her professional experiences have allowed her to have a strategic dimension of water management in France and more particularly in mountain areas.
She worked in an institutional setting where I was able to lead projects to share water resources in times of drought.
Today, she is interested in issues of food resilience versus water management, in case of drought. But in general, Charlène Descollonges wants to continue to support public actors (local authorities, political groups, associations, NGOs) in virtuous projects to preserve the water resource sustainably.
